Is this not an honest face?

Climbing more buildings...

Standing outside our church with Sadie, as Mommy sings in the choir...

On the way to church, we found this written in chalk on a sidewalk...

Sadie watched The Simpsons with Dad today...

Looks like relatives from the Frans (my Mom's) side of the family have been writing graffiti in St. John's Park again...

Little doll...

The whole family...

Good morning, Galstons. An honest face, and a candidate that I would definitely endorse if I had the opportunity- Rob, you're one up on the other candidates as you're experienced at " kissing babies"!! Which brings me to Sadie - watching the Simpsons?? I remember when that was not recommended by many parents in my peer group. Given that Mr. Groening, the brains behind the show, has his Mennonite roots in Main Centre, Sask. ( my back yard) , I'd say it's required viewing. Did I really say that????
How Sadie is growing!! One of us has to break down and make the trip!!! Tell SAdie to watch the mail for a special package!! I'll pop it in the mail today.
The sidewalk poetry is amazing - makes one hope it doesn't get rained on.
Good luck in your campaigning, Rob.

What did I read??! Aunty Gwen is endorsing the Simpsons?? Oh goodness- what is this world coming to? They aren't even allowed in our home! I have a friend who watches soaps with her 4 month old though, so I guess there could be worse shows than those Simpsons (???). Thanks for updating the site with more photos of your gorgeous little one! I can't believe the next time I see her in person she'll be over a year and running all over the place!

Greeting Erin, Rob, and Sadie,

Wow! Since Olivia's birth I've discovered the Kincaid's blog, and now The Onion Skyline...how wonderful! I didn't know Kathy Hildebrant drove over your kitty. Twice. Better keep her and Jessica away from all things feline...

So, that picture of the poem on the street is amazing. Do you mind that I'm using it as my new desktop image? Wendell Berry. I'd like to pretend I recognized the poet at a glance. But no. I looked it up. Berry's a farmer (and English prof). The New York Times named him "the prophet of rural America."
